HOTEL RUDYARD

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. INTRODUCTION

1.1 These terms and conditions apply to ALL guests of the Hotel.

2. BOOKINGS

2.1 Guests must book in advance, rooms are subject to availability and the hotel reserves the right to refuse any booking with good reason.

2.2 Although payment is generally required on departure, guests failing to provide credit card details on arrival will be required to pay in full for their room at check-in, and will not be able to charge anything to their room.

3. CHECK-IN & CHECK OUT TIMES

3.1 Guests may check-in at any time from 2pm on the day of arrival. Earlier check-in may be available at the Hotels discretion by prior arrangement only.

3.2 On departure, guests must vacate their rooms and check out by 10am. On occasion the Hotel reserves the right to require check out by 9am. Later check out can be prior arranged at the Hotels discretion

4. CHARGES

4.1 Charges will be at the Hotels current room rates as displayed at reception and available on request. Price lists for additional items are on display at the relevant locations and on request.

5. PAYMENT

5.1 Guests must pay all outstanding charges on departure.

6. CANCELLATION

6.1 The Hotels cancellation policy is 24 hours. Failure to notify us of a cancellation will incur a 50% surcharge.

7. RELOCATION

7.1 In the unlikely event that the Hotel does not, for any reason have the required number of rooms available as per the  booking, the Hotel reserves the right to relocate the client to an alternative hotel of a similar standard in the area.

8. RIGHT OF REFUSAL

8.1 The Hotel reserves the right to refuse a guest entry and/or accommodation if, on arrival, management reasonably considers that the guest is under the influence of drink and/or drugs, is unsuitably dressed or is behaving in athreatening, abusive or otherwise unacceptable manner..

9. DISTURBANCE

9.1 The Hotel reserves the right to require a guest to leave if he/she is causing a disturbance, annoying other guests or Hotel staff or is behaving in an unacceptable manner.

10. HOTEL RULES

10.1 Guests shall comply with all reasonable rules and procedures in effect at the Hotel, including but not limited to Health & Safety and Security procedures and statutory requirements regarding registration.

10.2 Guests shall not bring their own food or drink into the Hotel for consumption at the Hotel.

10.3 Children under the age of 14 must be supervised by an adult guest at ALL times.

11. VALUABLES

11.1 Guests with valuables should ask for them to be placed in the Hotel safe. The hotel shall be liable for any loss/damage to valuables placed in the safe. Guests will be issued with a receipt for any valuables kept in the safe.

12. LOSSES, LIABILITIES ETC.

12.1 Guests must report any loss of or damage to their property immediately.

12.2 Guests shall not enter any areas of the Hotel which are indicated as private or closed to the public. The Hotel shall not be responsible for death, personal injury or loss or damage to property suffered by a guest in these areas.

12.3 The Hotel shall not be liable to a guest for any loss or damage to property caused by the misconduct or negligence of a guest, or an act of God, or where the guest remains in exclusive charge of the property concerned.

12.4 The Hotel shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing any of its obligations under this Agreement, if the failure or delay was due to any cause beyond its reasonable control, including (without limitation) war or threat of war, civil or political action or disturbance, riot, fire natural disaster, epidemic, bad weather, terrorist activity (threatened or actual), military activity, governmental or regulatory action, industrial dispute, act of God, failure of power or machinery, failure of or interruption in externally provided services & utilities, and all other similar events outside the control of the Hotel.

12.5 For avoidance of doubt, the Hotel does not exclude its liability for death or personal injury caused by the Hotel’s negligence.

12.6 The Hotel is not responsible for any loss or damage caused to a guests vehicle, unless caused by the Hotel’s wilful misconduct.

12.7 Guests will be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury they may cause at the Hotel.

12.8 These conditions shall be governed by English Law and you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
